This series of chain shoots is designed specifically for youth of all shooting abilities. Coach Stevens started the first chain shoot in 2008 with a desire to teach youth shooters all components of participating in an ATA registered shoot, from equipment preparation and mind set to squading and payment. Youth shooters (new or experienced) aged 11-23 are invited to attend one, some or all of the events. Trophies will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place in each of four classes A, B, C and D. One High Over All shooting bag will be awarded to the youth who has the highest average and participates in all four shoots.

3rd Annual Minnesota Youth Chain Shoot Cost The cost per 100 targets is $18.00, plus daily fee of $5 (MTA $3 & ATA $2). We are attempting to find funding to offset the costs of shooting so keep watching for updates. If the youth chooses to shoot another 100 targets, the cost is only $18 additional. Each shooter is responsible for their own shells. Shells will be available for purchase at each gun club at regular gun club prices.
